Party-day checklist
Start a week out. Tick as you go so nothing gets forgotten in the excitement.
- Pick the date and the guest list (people and pets)
- Confirm any pet guests get along ~ ask their humans first
- Order or make the treats (vet-approved ingredients only)
- Print and hang the birthday banner
- Clear a safe play space ~ no small choke hazards on the floor
- Fresh water bowls out for every pet
- Charge the phone or camera for photos
- Have a quiet room ready in case anyone gets overwhelmed
- Bag up party favors for the guests to take home
- Plan a calm wind-down so the birthday pet can rest
Printable birthday banner
Cut along the dotted edge of each pennant and string them on ribbon or twine. The set spells out the celebration and leaves one blank pennant to add the name.
Letters: H · A · P · P · Y · B · D · A · Y · [name].
Print on cardstock if you have it ~ plain paper works fine for one party. Tip: laminate or slip into sheet protectors if you want to reuse it next year.

Simple, celebration-worthy ideas. These are starting points, not recipes with amounts ~ always confirm ingredients and portions with your vet, especially for the birthday pet.

The kit is about the party, not the food science. Treat ideas are starting points only ~ always check ingredients and portions with your own vet before serving anything new, especially for pets with allergies or medical needs.
What if my pet hates hats and costumes?
Skip them. The kit works fine with a plain bow, or nothing at all ~ a happy, relaxed pet beats a cute-but-stressed one every time.
Can I reuse the banner?
Yes ~ print it on cardstock or slip the pennants into sheet protectors and it will keep for next year.
